An Army of Women Screening

Join University Students Against Rape and STARS for a screening of An Army of Women, a documentary that follows the class action lawsuit initiated by survivors of sexual violence against the city of Austin, Texas due to their perpetrators never being prosecuted. More information about the film can be found at An Army of Women‘s website.

The screening will be held on November 5 in the Rackham Graduate School Amphitheater starting at 7 pm. Directly following at approximately 8:30 pm we will host a panel discussion for the first 50 registered. Refreshments will be provided during the panel. Note – only water is allowed in the amphitheater.

Note- trigger warning – sexual assault stories – an advocate will be in attendance

Student tickets are free. Community members are $7 each or $10 for 2. All donations are tax deductible.

Regarding registrations, we do have space for the movie screening, but the panel portion is beyond the 50 spots. IF we have space for the panel when you arrive, if you aren’t one of the first 50 registered, we will let you know. Thank you for understanding.
